School & Daycare Cleaning in Metro Atlanta

Cleaning to the Academic Calendar in Georgia’s Largest Districts

Metro Atlanta’s school map is unusually concentrated. Gwinnett County Public Schools is the largest district in Georgia, with Fulton, DeKalb and Cobb close behind, alongside city systems such as Decatur and Buford, independent schools, and several hundred private daycares and preschools. Between them they set the rhythm of our year in Suwanee, Duluth, Sandy Springs, Marietta and Decatur.

During term, cleaning happens after the last bus and is mostly about transmission. Door hardware, desks, shared keyboards, cafeteria tables, water fountains and restroom fixtures are what move a cold through a building, so they go on a fixed rotation rather than a best-effort wipe. CDC facility cleaning guidance is explicit that surfaces have to be cleaned before they are disinfected — that is the step a rushed clean skips, and skipping it is why a disinfectant does not do what the label says.

The heavy work waits for an empty building. Floor stripping and refinishing, carpet extraction and full-building resets belong in the summer, at winter break or over a long weekend, because they need time to cure with nobody walking on them. Those dates fill first, so book early. In any child-occupied room we default to low-VOC, non-toxic products — EPA’s Safer Choice list is the reference — and because our crews work in buildings full of children, every team member is background-checked before assignment and the documentation comes to you without being asked.
